Iran's Deputy Minister of Health Visits IranMall's Care Center

: News date

The Iranian Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Iraj Harirchi and Mr. Kianoosh Jahanpoor, The Spokesman for The National Anti-Corona Headquarters, paid a visit to Iran Mall's Care Center which has been set up for Coronavirus patients.

According to Iran Mall's Public Affairs, on the sideline of Mr. Harirchi's visit to Iran Mall's Care Center, he stated: "Iran Mall has designated fully-equipped 3000 beds for Coronavirus patients. This center - which belongs to the private sector - for the first time has stepped in the frontline to fight off this virus in this critical situation, and is now in service of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Training."

Iran's Deputy Minister of Health further noted: "Countries like America or France happened to think of converting their exhibition centers and spaces to care centers for patients after we decided to do that. If everyone played their part in social distancing and personal hygiene, no one would ever need to seek medical attention." Mr. Harirchi said: "European and American countries, contrary to their claims of being the world's leaders and in contrast to their claims of being modern industrial countries, have ordered their medical centers not to receive the elderly patients, whereas in Iran, the Elderly infected with the disease are hospitalized in ICU and are discharged after receiving proper medical treatment."

He also appreciated the 10 thousand Covid-19 tests donated by Tat Charity Foundation and said: "Tat Charity Foundation has purchased 10 thousand Covid-19 tests and has donated them to The Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Training.

Mr. Kianoosh Jahanpoor, The Spokesman for The Ministry of Health and The National Anti-Corona HQ, was another one of officials who also paid a visit to Iran Mall's Care Center. Mr. Jahanpoor stated that "The private sector should stand beside the government in critical times like this, because the fight against this virus requires everyone in the society to participate and take action. I am thankful for Iran Mall and Tat Charity Foundation's help and support." He then added: "Tat Charity Foundation's action in supporting the government in fighting this disease should also be considered the primary goal for other associations, organizations and charity foundations."
